SIJ St. Vincent de Paul: A Year of Compassion and Service The Society of St. Vincent de Paul at St. Isaac Jogues is a Catholic lay ministry dedicated to the spiritual growth of its members through person-to-person service to neighbors in need within our local community. In the 2025 fiscal year (October 1, 2024– September 30, 2025), our dedicated volunteers provided essential assistance to individuals and families facing hardship.

$12,000 from Parish Services, supported by State and Federal grants and provided through a reimbursement program
Food Distribution: We distributed 2,287 bags of food, serving 338 adults and 233 children, ensuring families in crisis had access to essential nutrition.
How We Helped Our Neighbors
Rooted in dignity, compassion, and the charism of St. Vincent, we focused our resources on preventing homelessness and alleviating urgent hardship:
Rent and Motel Assistance: We provided $73,598.22 in housing support to 61 neighbors. This included safely housing 53 individuals in motels, with total payments of $22,634.19.
Utilities: We prevented shutoffs and restored essential services by providing $22,057.27 in utility assistance to 36 neighbors.
Food Pantry: Our pantry operations used $11,621.95 to support families experiencing food insecurity—strengthened by the CGP H LLC Food Bank grant.
Transportation Assistance: We provided $11,469.64 to 17 neighbors for auto repairs, and critical transportation needs, enabling continued employment, medical access, and family stability. Cherokee Car Care supported this effort by supplying parts at cost and donating all labor.
Acknowledgements We extend our deepest gratitude to the parishioners of St. Isaac Jogues and St. John Neumann, along with our individual donors, corporate partners, Parish Services, St. Mary of the Lakes (Twinning), and the Knights of Columbus for their unwavering generosity. Your support stays local and transforms lives—fulfilling Christ’s message:
“Whatever you did for one of the least of these, you did for me.”
